As they used to say in the House of Representatives, “Keep your powder dry!” There is officially no winner of the Presidential election just yet. The judicial system is dealing with this moment of national confusion. We must remember that the media has no authority to declare a winner. Anyone in America can deliver an acceptance speech!
Let’s wait and see what happens next. We could be into December before we have a final count and a true winner can be OFFICIALLY DECLARED.
The United States Constitution orders every state to hold an election for the President every four years. However, it gives states the freedom in the details of how the election is conducted. We’d like to presume the officials charged with the duty of conducting these elections are motivated by fairness and honesty. Sadly, that is not true.
Are you tired of hearing more about the upcoming election? If it were today many of us would be relieved to see the newscasts report on current events instead of what’s so bad about the candidates running for office.
Here’s what one of my Facebook friends had to say:
“Anyone who thinks either Hillary or Trump can destroy this Nation – a Nation being Held Up by the Hands of God – needs to re-examine his or her faith. Because that idea is a lie being whispered in our ears by spirits who want nothing less than to tear our souls to pieces…”
GOD IS GREAT AND HE HAS THIS COUNTRY IN HIS HANDS! THE ONLY WAY AMERICA CAN BE HARMED IS IF WE LOSE FAITH! ~ Imre Beke
“Nil desperandum, — Never Despair. That is a motto for you and me. All are not dead; and where there is a spark of patriotic fire, we will rekindle it.”
― Samuel Adams
So how do we fight against discouragement? We need to go back to our National Motto: “IN GOD WE TRUST”.
I am encouraged by YOU! At least there are some people out there who understand what’s going on in our Nation. You, my reader, understand more than most people, but I want you to know what a blessing it is to me to hear your replies to my newsletters and knowing that you are out there joining us in supporting our efforts.
We must vote for representatives who have sound judgment, integrity, fortitude and the moral leadership necessary to restore our Country. If you want to gain a deeper understanding of why I would engage in the battle, please take the time to look at the scorecards. There are plenty of organizations that want to help us connect the dots.
My daughter came home from her graduate school last weekend and brought another student who was from China. Her friend asked me why I got involved in politics. I can understand how difficult this may be to understand for someone who is from a Communist country, but it’s a good question for all of us to answer.
The greatest reason for us to get involved is because we can make a difference! We live in a Country where our actions today will affect the future generations. This is a serious and powerful motivator.
Our system is designed so that our ideas and the way we act on our ideas have an effect. As I have traveled around the district, it surprises me to see how much enthusiasm exists for our effort to challenge the status quo.
On our show today, you get an insider’s glimpse from a Congressional candidate, Paul Berry III.
He speaks the truth and gives us what we need to know about the political dynamics in play this next election cycle.
You’ll catch some insights into how the government is heading the wrong way and what we are doing to set the country on a new course.
