Last night we took the kids to the Muny to see Mary Poppins. As a child, I enjoyed it for the music, but as an adult I saw the storyline more clearly than ever before. It is a great message about the importance of family. The tyranny of the urgent can squeeze out some of the most valuable parts of our lives. I love stories with happy endings and know that focusing on all of our families will bring greater happiness to ourselves and greater social, emotional, spiritual and economic stability to our culture.
Please help us by inviting your friends to join our Facebook page or going to our website to hear messages that will comfort, encourage and show the way out of the forest as we navigate through the clutter of our cultural condition. Educating our friends and neighbors is a big part of getting our country back on track!
We are eager to hear your suggestions on topics you want addressed for future issues and guests, so please share what you think here:
Why Home Front?
There is a battle raging to grow government to out-of-control proportions. The home is ground zero. It’s not enough to continue with our armchair hand-wringing. Knowledge is power. If we can learn more about the issues, we can move the country in the right direction. You won’t hear the same sound bites constantly regurgitated on the evening news. We are here to cut to the heart of the issues and to explain them in an easily digestible and entertaining format.
Tonight we will be interviewing Robert Andrews, a retired high school athletic coach and author of the book, The Family: God’s Weapon for Victory. If you have any questions for our guest, you can call:
