Covid Stimulus

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

“Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it!”

This last COVID relief bill is flagrantly off topic and a huge disappointment to us!  I am not in Congress, but if anyone in Congress wants to listen, here’s how I would write the “COVID Relief” bill:

1.)  We need relief from oppression!  Let’s start there.  The governmental chains around our hands have caused great damage to businesses and individuals.  We need fewer laws, not more laws.  It is inappropriate for a government to destroy a small business and then throw some money at it thinking it can make it all better.

2.)  Instead of sending out checks, we should have an “Income Tax Holiday”, so the citizens would get the same amount of relief, but without all the hassles and inaccuracies of printing and mailing checks.  Nothing would get lost and dead people would not receive anything.  Only those who are working would get the bonus.  It would put money into their bank accounts in the form of greater take home pay and help to “starve the beast”.  If the government has plenty of money to pass out, it certainly has too much money!

3.)  Any business or government that demands its customers wear face masks must have an exemption clause.   All the people who have already had COVID or took the vaccine and those who cannot wear masks should be exempt.  So, in a short time, less than half of the people should want to be wearing masks.  We don’t want to tell businesses how to operate, but many of them desperately need “guidance” to know when they have interfered with the people’s civil liberties.  Everyone who wants to wear a mask can wear one, but we need protection for those who should not wear one from being harassed and forced to disclose their medical issues.

4.)  No taxpayer dollars to any foreign country!  The proper purpose of government is to protect us from invaders, both foreign and domestic, not to fund them!

We must fight for this Country. If we lose these battles, we might have nothing left to fight for in the future.

What do you think about the COVID relief bill?

WHAT YOU CAN DO…

1.)  Pray for Donald Trump and those on his legal team.  Pray for the judges that we would have righteous and fair decisions.  Pray for the state legislatures that they would desire to have honest elections and courage to enforce their laws.

2.)   Listen to our podcast with Dr. Scott Lively.  He does a fabulous job of explaining how we can win.  In 1947 and 1961 there were court cases that created huge shifts in how we handle religion in America with ramifications still continuing today.  You can find our latest podcast here.

3.) Keep the pressure up on your elected officials.  They need to know how important this is to you.  As elected leaders, they need to act in their official capacities to enforce the rules and spend our taxpayer dollars with great prudence and restraint.  Ask them what they are doing to vote in a Constitutional manner.  If they think you don’t care, they won’t care.

This is a list of Senators who were brave enough to vote against the COVID Bill.  They need our encouragement.

A LITTLE BIT OF HUMOR

Have you sent this to President Trump and Senator Harley? If not, would you? You probably don’t want to send to Blunt or Parson. They are too busy transitioning to Biden. Thanks for your newsletters. Merry Christmas.

As a Trump supporter, I’m glad he backed off of the $2,000 stimulus payments. Many including myself have not lost a dime of income and still received $1200. I will probably get another $600 which I did not earn. Even incarcerated imates received the previous $1200 payments as approved by a judge. When the treasury increases the money suppy, it results in higher costs for goods and services. Any savings in bank accounts will loose purchasing power.

I don’t think it is fair to blame the government for the Covid virus. It is real and I personally have known two people who died from it. My 6 year old Grand son got Covid from his pre-school teacher in a Pennsylvania private school. The teacher got it from her son on Thanksgiving. My daughter and my three Grand sons all tested positive. Fortunately none of the boys were sick and my daughter was sick for several days with no respiratory problems. Today is her 10th day with the virus. Trust me, if your child gets sick you will believe that the virus is real. Needless to say, masking is very important. I have seen people without masks in public places. I keep my distance and think these people just don’t give a damn about others. There are asmptomatic virus carriers. No one “wants” to wear a mask, and no one wants to die from the Covid virus. If less than half of the people wore masks, believe me, the morgues would be full.
