We went to Washington DC last week. While we were looking at the Nation’s gems, I was again reminded of how important our country is, not only to us, but to the entire world. You might not recognize this as the Washington Monument because it is so tall and we were so close to the base, but indeed it is. The photographer had to lay on the ground just to get the entire monument into the picture. -
