Veterans Day – Home Front with Cynthia Davis

I can't say who this is or what he is doing because of military regulations. Suffice it to say, he is a very close relative and I had some part in bringing him into the world. I am very proud of him for doing his part to protect and defend out country. I am proud of all people who are serving in the military. This particular photo was snapped at a celebration when he became an officer. For those of you who get confused between Veterans Day and Memorial Day, Veterans Day is the day we celebrate those who are living now and are currently serving or previously served in the military.

Considering the tenuous nature of our foreign policy coming down from the Commander in Chief, I as a mother, have reasons to be concerned. Regardless of how you may feel about foreign entanglements, the best approach is to offer our encouragement and support to those who are obligated to protect us.
