One
Very Special Truck Driver
Scott
Clark, Conway Freight driver and resident of O'Fallon, made our district
proud by driving one million accident-free miles! This is a
remarkable accomplishment considering all the careless drivers these days.
I
attended the
Representative
Davis with Con-Way Freight employees.
If
you know someone who deserves some special recognition, I am always happy
to help to honor the event with a proclamation from the The
Official Manual-State of This
publication contains more than just a list of State officials. It
has State historical facts and articles, state department descriptions,
and listing of department heads. You can view this manual online:

Manual online viewing, or you may pick up a
personalized copy at Representative Davis' book store, Back To Basics
Christian Bookstore, located at 1002 Highway K in O'Fallon.
What to
do with your Christmas Tree
If you
still have a Christmas tree to dispose of and are an O'Fallon resident,
you can drop it off until January 17th at the O'Fallon Sports
Park or A Little
Bit of Humor . . . The
Truck Driver & the Bikers A
truck driver stopped at a roadside diner for lunch, and ordered a
cheeseburger, coffee, and a slice of apple pie. As he was about to eat,
three motorcycles pulled up outside. The
bikers came in, and one grabbed the trucker's cheeseburger out of his hand
and took a huge bite from it. The second one drank the trucker's coffee,
and the third wolfed down his apple pie. The truck driver didn't say a
word. He simply got up, paid the cashier, and
left. When
he was gone, other motorcyclists snickered to one another and
congratulated each other on being so "bad". As the cashier walked up, one
of the motorcyclists growled, "He ain't much of a man, is
he?" "He's
not much of a driver, either," the cashier replied. "He just backed his
18-wheeler over three motorcycles."
